For over three decades Robert Neubert has planned some of Chicago’s most notable philanthropic, corporate, and civic events, helping his clients raise hundreds of millions of dollars in support of their mission. His service to Chicago LGBTQ organizations includes Equality Illinois (whose annual gala he produced for 24 consecutive years), as well as scores of fund raising events for AIDS Foundation Chicago, Howard Brown Health, PFLAG, the Center on Halsted, Chicago House, the Human Rights Campaign, and the 2006 Gay Games.

Robert served on the board of directors for AIDS Foundation Chicago for 15 years and is a former board president of Chicago Dancers United/Dance for Life. His other Chicago board and advisory appointments include Catholic Charities – Archdiocese of Chicago, Biz Bash, AIWF (American Institute of Wine and Food), and CEC (Catering Executives Club of America).

Robert was inducted into the Biz Bash Hall of Fame in 2009 and was awarded AIDS Foundation Chicago Volunteer of the Year in 2013. Crain’s Chicago Business recognized him as a Notable LGBTQ Executive in 2019 as a Chicago leader in the business and non-profit world.

He has been an active industry mentor and guest speaker for the DePaul University School of Hospitality Leadership, DePaul University Theatre School, Roosevelt University, Kendall College, and the Silver Fork Culinary Arts program at the Center on Halsted.
