KEVIN M. BRYSON | HOF BOARD MEMBER

Kevin M. Bryson HOF Board Member

Kevin Bryson (he/his) is a Rogers Park native devoted to helping people, small businesses, professional practices and nonprofit organizations with telephony and technology. Enamored with computers, telephones and online networks early, Kevin began building communities for Byte Magazine’s online service, BiX, and running computer bulletin board systems in the late 1980s. These included LGBTQIA dial-up bulletin board “After the Bars BBS”, which had 26 telephone lines and served thousands of Chicagoland LGBTQIA+ folks prior to ubiquitous internet and cellphones. Early charitable work included several early-childhood and tenants-rights organizations. Later involvement on the board of LGPA/GOAL Chicago led Kevin to friendship with Hall of Fame Co-Chair Kathern Caldwell and brought him into service for the Board of the Hall of Fame in 2018. Kevin’s for-profit work included clients in the Transportation, Insurance, Manufacturing and Legal industries, and included a 14-year engagement as the Law Firm Administrator for a 15-lawyer personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm downtown. Kevin specializes in the implementation of database, CRM and accounting applications.
