It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of a member of the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame family, Lauren Verdich. Lauren was a vital part of our community and through her catering company assisted many charitable organizations. Our deepest condolences to her wife, another member of the Hall of Fame family, Gail Morse. A Celebration of Life Service for Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame inductee, Lauren Verich will be held at the University Club Chicago, 79 E. Monroe, on May 20 from 12:30-4 p.m. Those who knew and loved Lauren (which means everyone, because it was impossible to know Lauren and not to love her), to share stories of our life and times with her. It is open to the public.
